SYGESP allows you to generate a brief for each SYGESP's user very easily, zone by zone (text or image) and for one or more pages. Each brief generates an email alert for the user in charge. All the e-mail alerts are also automatically entered into the users "to-do list" which are displayed on SYGESP home page. Lastly, once the brief is recorded, it is included in production schedules.

Reference point for end-users, the SYGESP schedule allows them to access their key publication dates. Automatically generated as soon as a brief is assigned, the SYGESP schedule also allows you to add to the production schedule a specific event addressed to the entire team (such as a meeting) and to take advantage of the e-mail alerts system to dispatch this new information.

The SYGESP user interface is available in both French and English. On special order, it is also available in all other European languages and in Arabic, Asian languages and Cyrillic writing because SYGESP is based entirely on Unicode. The SYGESP publishing platform allows you to manage as many versions as needed for your publications. All you have to do is select the corresponding languages. The validation workflow allows you then to define the procedures for initiating the translations. Each version has its own InDesign file, its PDF versions at various levels of resolution, and export capability for XML, HTML …

SYGESP includes a module for updating and cropping images. Drawing on certain of the main features available in Photoshop (types of tools available, keyboard shortcuts, etc.), this module allows you to execute a very precise image cropping by simply using your Web browser. Following validation, the newly defined parameters will be applied directly to the file containing the high-resolution versions. Your InDesign file is thus immediately modified. Of course, a complete log of changes made is available and allows you at any time to recover any of your previous croppings.
SYGESP always saves the original high-resolution file.

The SYGESP Flash interface allows you to add text frames and image frames into your InDesign css. It takes just a mouse click. As all of these new frames are created directly in the InDesign file, your css designer can modify them if needed.

All the users actions are stored in the SYGESP database. Thus, each validation action is saved with the name of the validator and the related date and time of each of his actions.

This information, always available using the corresponding function, enables the project managers effectively supervise the progress of the various publications in course of production using the filtering criteria. At any time, you can quickly and easily know who did what, where and when.

Designed to manage large volumes of data, MediaData is a Digital Asset Management (DAM) which runs with most of format of images (including JPEG, EPS, TIFF, PSD, AI, PDF), videos and sounds and allows you to simply store all your digital data through a Flex interface accessible with your Web browser (Flash plug-in required).

MediaData helps you to organize your data and find them through its infinite tree structure, the keywords, the custom metadata, the management of EXIF and IPTC, the automatic videos conversions for direct preview,  the simple and advanced search functions, the selection filters ... When it is integrated to SYGESP, MediaData can work as unique resource for storage and updating images used in the publications in course of production in SYGESP. In such a case and if you have selected the "image linked" function, when you modify an image using SYGESP cropping images functions, all the InDesign files containing that image are modified in the same time.
